Eli Lilly’s profits has increased on higher sales on it’s treatments for diabetes, cancer and depression. Are we not surprise at the results? After all Eli Lilly does sell an Anti psychotic medication Zyprexa thats linked to Diabetes and Hyperglycemia according to the The Food and Drug Administration.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Eli Lilly and Co (LLY.N: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Monday its first-quarter earnings rose on higher sales of its treatments for diabetes, cancer and depression.

The Indianapolis-based drugmaker earned $1.06 billion, or 97 cents a share, compared with $508.7 million, or 47 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
