What I find hilarious but pathetic at the same time was when I went to Zoloft’s website, zoloft.com, I was dumbfounded but not astound to see that Pfizer placed this remarkable statement about their drug, Zoloft on their website:
“Zoloft is well tolerated and effective for the treatment of depression and certain types of anxiety disorders.
Zoloft is FDA approved to treat depression, social anxiety disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) in adults over age 18. It is also approved for OCD in children and adolescents age 6-17 years.
For more than 15 years, Zoloft has safely and effectively treated millions of people with depression and anxiety. And Zoloft is available in multiple strengths, so your doctor can decide a dose for you.”
Why take an antidepressant when you’re feeling suicidal??
This information was taken off of zoloft.com website and prove how their medications aren’t the absolute best to prescribed when someone is feeling suicidal.
Depression is a serious medical condition, which can lead to suicidal thoughts and behavior. Children, adolescents, and young adults, taking antidepressants, may increase the risk for suicidal thoughts and behavior within the first few months of treatment. This risk must be balanced with the medical need. Those starting medication or changing doses should be watched closely for suicidal thoughts, worsening of depression, or unusual changes in mood or behavior. In children and teens, Zoloft is only approved for use in those with obsessive-compulsive disorder. A patient Medication Guide about “Antidepressant Medicines, Depression and Other Serious Mental Illness, and Suicidal Thoughts or Actions” is available.
Does their statement make any sense to you? If I had severe depression that causes me to experience suicidal feelings, why should I take a pill that endues the feeling that I’m having without the drug intervention?
Heres a glimpse look at their well known irresponsible cartoon commercial that Pfizer created for their Zoloft product.

I wonder if the rock like character felt so depressed after taking the drug, Zoloft for a few weeks? or maybe he committed suicide.
